Welcome to my blog! I’ll be sharing tips and resources for language learners, whether you’re going it alone or trying to get the most out of your lessons.

My name is Nicky Wijns and I’m a professional translator and language trainer. I teach Dutch and Russian language lessons under the name Litterate. I’m also currently learning Croatian, which means I can see things from both the student’s and teacher’s perspective. My blog will explore the ways in which we learn language and take a closer look at different methods and materials. My goal is to help you find out what works – and what doesn’t – when it comes to learning a new language.
