As cliché as it may sound, I’ve been fascinated by words and images ever since I was a child. From the moment I first learned to turn the pages of a magazine (we didn’t have e-readers back then!), I read everything I could get my hands on. Some of my most treasured memories include learning to read, my first visit to the library, and the first article I wrote for the school newspaper.

Fast-forward to the present: I’ve traded the picture books for an e-reader and built a career on my lifelong love of languages. I translate French, English and Russian texts into Dutch, making sure they hit their mark, whether the goal is to inform, persuade or drive sales. I also help people to improve their Dutch and Russian skills with tailor-made language training (and a healthy dose of enthusiasm!). These complementary activities have allowed me to evolve into an all-round language professional.
